PROTEINS:-
Proteins Are biological polymers composed of amino Acids. Amino acids are linked together by a peptide bond that's why protein is also called as polypeptide molecule.
POLYPEPTIDE:-
A polypeptide is a long chain of amino acids biologically present and linked by amino acids.
SHAPES:-
Proteins have complex shapes that includes various shapes folds and curves.Chemical bonding between the portions of polypeptide chains helps in holding the protein together and giving it its shape.
AMINO ACIDS:-
Amino acids plays central role both as building blocks of proteins and as intermediates in metabolis.When a protein is digested it is once again broken down into specific Amino Acids that are then again put together for different use.
STRUCTURES OF PROTEINS:-
1.Globular protein.
2.Fibrous protein.
Globular protein#
Globular protein are round shaped proteins generally compact and soluble in nature.
Fibrous protein#
Fibrous proteins are elongated and insoluble.
